WWEs always unpredictable since fans can never tell when a former star might just return to the company in a different capacity. As it turns out, a very interesting name was a producer for this weeks episode of NXT.
According to Cory Hays of BodySlam, Shayna Baszler was listed as a producer for the match between Kelani Jordan and Lainey Reid during the July 8th edition of WWE NXT. It was noted that Chris Girard was also a producer for the bout.
This comes after WWE released Shayna Baszler back in May, which was obviously something that fans felt was a bad decision. As reported earlier, Baszlers WWE release caught everyone off-guard in the company since she had re-signed last year.
Before her release, the former NXT Womens Champion last competed on WWE TV during the April 11 episode of SmackDown. She appeared as part of the Pure Fusion Collective alongside Zoey Stark and Sonya Deville.
Whether this is just a one-time producer role or the beginning of a new chapter for Shayna Baszler in WWE is still unclear. Either way, fans will be paying close attention to see whats next for the Queen of Spades in the company if she really is coming back for good.
