Kevin Nash isnt expecting a long, back-and-forth slugfest if Goldberg finally steps into the ring with Gunther. In fact, the WWE Hall of Famer straight-up thinks the match couldand maybe shouldbe over in three minutes.
During the latest Kliq This podcast, Nash floated the idea of Goldberg quickly destroying Gunther as a way to deliver a massive shock to WWE fans and shake up Gunthers character.
When the host asked Nash whether he thought the match would go 10 minutes, Nash compared the scenario to Goldbergs quick fight with Brock Lesnar and said a short match wouldnt necessarily disappoint fans.
Then he upped the ante, pitching a brutal visual that would leave fans speechless.
Nash wasnt just playing fantasy booker. He genuinely believes a squash loss would flip Gunthers dominant image and create ripple effects across WWE.
Goldberg is currently rumored to face Gunther in what could be his final WWE match at Saturday Nights Main Event XL on July 12, 2025, from State Farm Arena in Atlanta. If this retirement match goes down, the booking decision might be more explosive than the match itself.
