Jake The Snake Roberts has never been shy about calling it like he sees itand WWEs latest reality show concept has officially earned his disapproval.
The Hall of Famer didnt hold back on his Snake Pit podcast when addressing reports about Unreal, a new series that promises to pull the curtain back on WWEs creative process.
For Roberts, a man who built his career on mystique and psychology, the idea of exposing how storylines and characters are crafted is a mistake that could damage the very product WWE is trying to promote. Roberts started off with some sarcasm about WWEs relentless approach to monetizing every piece of its empire.
But then, Roberts made it clear he doesnt believe this is a smart move for the business.
The man behind one of the most chilling and believable characters in wrestling history argued that peeling back the layers ruins the illusion and breaks the emotional investment fans have in the show.
Roberts, whos been working with AEW since 2020, might be spending more time behind the scenes these days, but his old-school mindset on protecting the business is alive and welland Unreal doesnt sit right with him.
