Damian Priest couldnt help but take a playful shot at Cody Rhodes this 4th of Julyand it had WWE fans cracking up.
Priest jumped on Twitter after seeing a massive New York fireworks display and couldnt resist the comparison to Codys infamous entrance pyro. Happy Independence Day So cool to see @CodyRhodes Pyro in NY. Priest tweeted alongside a video of the fireworks lighting up the sky.
The jab didnt go unnoticed. Rhea Ripley chimed in with her own reaction, clearly loving every second of Priests dig at the American Nightmare. Im dead WOOOOOOAAAAAH! Ripley wrote, mocking Codys entrance music in the process.
Rhodes has built a reputation for having some of the loudest, flashiest pyro in WWE todaysomething both fans and fellow wrestlers like Priest and Ripley clearly cant help but notice.
With Codys upcoming Undisputed WWE Title match at SummerSlam, expect the pyro bill to keep climbingand his locker room rivals to keep the jokes coming.
