WWE Hall of Famer RVD is one of the most chill people in the business but even he has his limits. He was offended after Maven called RVD the smelliest wrestler and now Maven took it upon himself to go to RVDs house to apologize.

While speaking on his YouTube channel, Maven admitted that some time ago he made a comment he instantly regretted, calling RVD the smelliest wrestler and comparing him to New York City.

Wanting to make things right, he decided to head over to RVDs place to apologize, bringing the cameras along. When he arrived, he told Katie Forbes that he owed both her and RVD an apology and asked if it was okay to come in.

Maven explained that they probably heard what he said on the podcast, and while he could insist all day that he didnt mean it the way it sounded, he knew how bad it came off. It bothered him that it upset them and so he wanted to say sorry in person.

Speaking directly to RVD, Maven said he knew he had said some things that were taken the wrong way. He could make excuses forever, but he believes if you make a mistake, you should apologize face-to-face, which is why he was there.

RVD told him he wasnt even sure he took it wrong, which led Maven to admit he probably misunderstood the original question and went off in the wrong direction trying to be funny. RVD said thats exactly what he thought happened, so there were no hard feelings.

RVD did mention he could think of plenty of other people who might deserve the smelliest wrestler label before him, so it was a bit of a surprise. He then jokingly asked what the deal was with the deodorant comment.

Maven laughed and brought up how RVD used to use baby powder, saying that despite what people might think, he wasnt staring at his package. He just remembered RVD putting on deodorant right after and figured maybe there was something about the baby powder routine he didnt know.

Regardless, its great to know that Maven went the extra mile to apologize to the WWE Hall of Famer after making such a bizarre remark and we hope nothing like this ever happens again.
