The June 27 episode of SmackDown, which hasnt aired yet in the U.S., saw Giulia defeat Zelina Vega to become the new WWE Womens United States Champion. The match wasnt even close, with Giulia steamrolling Vega in what insiders described as a clear statement from WWE.
