Blake Monroe has officially arrived in WWEand her first NXT match is already turning heads.
The former AEW standout, known to fans as Mariah May, made her in-ring debut for WWE NXT at a live event in Fort Pierce, Florida on June 27. Monroe squared off against Laney Reid in singles action, picking up her first win under the WWE banner.
This wasnt just Monroes NXT debutit marked her first match in months. The last time fans saw her compete, she was still part of AEW, where her final bout saw her fall short to AEW Womens World Champion Toni Storm at Revolution 2025.
Monroe has been vocal about wanting to bring a new level of glamor to WWEs womens division, and it didnt take long for her to shift focus to championship gold.
