Nikki Bella might not be lacing up the boots these days, but that doesnt mean shes out of the WWE spotlight. The Hall of Famer recently hosted the SummerSlam Kickoff press conference at Fanatics Fest, and she couldnt believe how different the energy was compared to when she was an active Superstar.
While chatting with Brie Bella on Booked and Busy | The Nikki & Brie Show, Nikki opened up about how much fun she had hosting the eventand how far WWEs press conferences have come since the old days. Brie brought up the event, telling Nikki she tuned in to watch.
Nikki immediately responded, proud of how it turned out but also reflecting on how the vibe was nothing like what she experienced during her wrestling career.
Nikki went on to say that the biggest difference wasnt just the updated formatit was the energy of having so many different athletes, celebrities, and WWE personalities all in the same room. For her, it felt like being back with family.
Hosting the SummerSlam press conference gave Nikki a front-row seat to see how much WWEs presentation has evolvedand how much more crossover appeal the company has built by bringing in big names from sports, entertainment, and beyond.
Nikki might be busy with motherhood and life outside the ring, but based on her reaction, its clear she still feels right at home when shes around the WWE universe.
