Bron Breakker knows the Steiner legacy follows him everywherebut hes finally setting the record straight on why he chose not to wrestle under the family name.
During a recent conversation on the Six Feet Under podcast, Breakker admitted that WWE gave him the option to debut as a Steiner, but he ultimately decided to carve his own path.
Breakker explained that while the Steiner name is legendary, it was always going to be attached to him whether he used it or not.
The Undertaker and Michelle McCool, who were part of the conversation, nodded along, understanding that no matter what name Breakker used, fans would always connect him to his famous family.
The decision has fueled a ton of debate in the wrestling world. Many hardcore fans still believe WWE disrespected the Steiner name by not branding him as Rex Steinera name that would have directly carried on the family legacy. But Breakker made it clear: for him, being a Steiner was never about whats written on the entrance graphicits in his DNA either way.
