John Cena is one of the most respectful human beings in the world right now, which is why he expects people to do the same for him. Thats why it wasnt a surprise that he confronted a fan for recording him without his consent.
A fan on TikTok uploaded a video of himself at Fanatics Fest, where he first took a photo with John Cena. However, he would then follow Cena around and kept on recording Cena without his permission.
Cena confronted the fan and looked visibly upset as he told the fan that he is a fan of consent, saying, Im a big fan of consent. So if you would like to take a video, Im a big fan of consent.
The fan apologized to Cena and let him be as Cena walked away from him. However, John Cena eventually came back to the fans and actually apologized for walking away from him, explaining that he felt like he was in a tough situation, saying, Im sorry for walking away from you. Just take a deep breath. And I feel like Im in a tough situation.
The fan also apologized for his actions. Afterwards, John Cena said its chaotic at Fanatics Fest and that he would give him whatever he asked, saying I just know its kinda chaos back here. Ill give you whatever you want, as long as you ask. I appreciate you.
The end of the video featured Kevin Hart making an appearance and John Cena hugged him in what was a wholesome moment. Regardless, this incident shows that consent matters and no one should record a person without their permission, especially if its a celebrity.
