Fans tuning into WWE RAW over the last few weeks have probably noticed Pat McAfee hasnt been at the commentary desk. Now, the former NFL star is setting the record straight on his absence and it turns out hes just taking some much-needed time for himself.
During Mondays episode of The Pat McAfee Show, the SmackTalk host confirmed hes still off RAW for now, and its all about slowing down and recharging.
While McAfee has stayed active with his daily show, Wade Barrett and Corey Graves have filled in on RAW commentary duties. McAfee didnt hint at any issues with WWE just pure burnout from the nonstop schedule.
For now, it looks like the charismatic announcer is focused on life outside the ring. No official word yet on when hell return to WWE full-time.
