The Night of Champions card just took a major hit, and WWE fans arent thrilled.
During the June 23 episode of WWE RAW, Adam Pearce dropped the news that AJ Styles scheduled Intercontinental Title match against Dominik Mysterio at Night of Champions is officially off. Pearce blamed the change on circumstances linked to Liv Morgans recent injury, though he stopped short of revealing the full story.
AJ Styles didnt take the news well, and its safe to say fans share the frustration. WWEs Night of Champions is still set for June 28 in Saudi Arabia, but now the card is missing a major title bout.
WWE hasnt provided full details on why Dominik Mysterio was pulled from the match, but the timing raises plenty of questions. With Liv Morgans injury affecting Judgment Days involvement in current storylines, speculation is swirling about whether Dominiks absence is related.
Pearce did assure Styles that he hasnt lost his title opportunity entirely. Youll get the next Intercontinental Title match when Dominik can defend it again, Pearce added.
