WWE has provided an official update on LA Knights condition after the brutal attack he suffered during last Fridays SmackDown.
The situation unfolded after weeks of escalating tensions between LA Knight, Seth Rollins crew, Bron Breakker, and Bronson Reed. On SmackDown, Knight was ambushed by Breakker and Reed, who left him laid out after a vicious double assault. Breakker delivered two brutal Spears, followed by three crushing Tsunamis from Bronson Reed that left Knight unable to stand.
During the June 23 episode of WWE RAW, Michael Cole addressed Knights condition live on air. Cole stated that LA Knight has suffered a very serious injury following the attack by Seth Rollins stable on Friday.
WWE is reporting that Knight has suffered separated rib cartilage and a bruised sternum as a result of the attack. While the injury is part of the ongoing storyline, the company is making it clear that Knights status is uncertain heading into the coming weeks.
