During a backstage Q&A, Fightfuls Sean Ross Sapp confirmed that Morgans sudden exit derailed several major plans, affecting multiple divisions and top names. From championship feuds to faction angles, the damage is bigger than most fans realized.
Morgan was set for a massive summer, with storylines tied to Nikki and Brie Bella, Roxanne Perez, IYO SKY, and even Judgment Day. According to reports, the June 16 episode of Monday Night Raw was supposed to push several of those angles forward. But once Morgan dislocated her shoulder, everything unraveled.
Nikki Bella, who was scheduled to interfere during Morgans match with Kairi Sane, was pulled from the show on short notice. WWE has yet to announce new plans for the Womens Tag Team Titles or the heavily rumored Evolution 2 premium live event.
