Real Madrid's third kit for the upcoming 2025/26 season has been leaked and its a striking callback to the Cristiano Ronaldo era at the Santiago Bernabu.
The kit is predominantly deep blue, complemented by crisp white detailing including the classic adidas Trefoil logo, the Emirates sponsor, and the brands iconic three stripes across each shoulder.
According to reliable kit outlet Footy Headlines, the design is directly inspired by the new seating installed at the Bernabu part of a major renovation project completed at the end of 2024. The bold blue tone mirrors the refurbished stadium's modern aesthetic while nodding to Madrids rich footballing past.
The kit also features a famous phrase etched into both the jock tag and inner collar: "90 Minuti en el Bernabu son molto longo" a quote that translates to 90 minutes at the Bernabu is a very long time.
The phrase was coined by club legend Juanito after a 20 first-leg defeat to Inter in the 1986 European Cup. As the Madrid squad left the pitch, Juanito warned one of Inters players what to expect in the second leg in Chamartn. His words went down in folklore after Madrid overturned the deficit in dramatic fashion at home.

Interestingly, the last time Real wore a similar shade of blue was in the 2017/18 season Cristiano Ronaldos final campaign with the club before his move to Juventus. However, this new 2025/26 design more closely resembles the 2013/14 away strip, which was also a rich blue with white accents, including shoulder stripes.
That 2013/14 season was a memorable one for both Ronaldo and the club. The Portuguese forward scored 51 goals across all competitions and helped Los Blancos capture both the Copa del Rey and UEFA Champions League titles. He capped off the campaign by winning the Ballon d'Or for the third time in his career.
While this new third kit ensures Real Madrid will look the part next season, the hope among fans is that the team can recapture the dominance of those peak Ronaldo years particularly after a disappointing 2024/25 campaign that ended without silverware.
