The show opened with Joe Hendry delivering an in-ring promo focused on TNA World Champion Trick Williams. Santino Marella interrupted to bring the facts: Hendry still hadnt activated his rematch clause. Marella made it officialHendry will face Trick Williams for the TNA World Title at Slammiversary in July.
Zachary Wentz defeated Ryan Nemeth in singles action, keeping his momentum rolling.
Knockouts Champion Masha Slamovich answered Killer Kellys challengebut she didnt stop there. Slamovich added her own stipulation, suggesting next weeks title defense be a chain match.
Ash by Elegance came out on top in a Knockouts battle royal, securing a future title shot. But as she celebrated, Slamovich appeared on the ramp to confront heruntil NXT Womens Champion Jacy Jayne made a surprise entrance of her own, staring both women down in a tense three-way moment.
Backstage, Jake Something was shown returning from injury. He had a brief but pointed confrontation with Steve Maclin, declaring interest in the International Championship.
Then came the wildest segment of the night: Mustafa Ali defeated John Skyler in a Call to Arms match and appeared to end the Order 4 faction by attacking both Skyler and Jason Hotch. As Ali threatened to hit Tasha Steelz with a chair, Cedric Alexander made his shocking TNA debut, coming to the ring. Hotch, Skyler, and Steelz stood behind Alexander as Ali made a quick exit.
Tension within The System remained unresolved as a backstage promo ended with Matt Cardona and Brian Myers still locked in a stare down.
The Hardys (Matt & Jeff) defeated The Northern Armory (Judas Icarus & Travis Williams), and after the match, they called out Leon Slater. They gave Slater some respect ahead of his X-Division title match against Moose at Slammiversary.
Moose picked up a win in a three-way over Shane Sabre and Jake Painter. After the match, Moose and Slater had a tense staredown, confirming their collision course for Slammiversary.
In the main event, Mike Santana beat AJ Francis in a street fight. Post-match, Santana called his shot for a TNA World Title match at Slammiversarysetting up what now appears to be a three-way showdown involving Trick Williams and Joe Hendry.
TNA sticks around in Pittsburgh for another night of TV tapings this Saturday, with more fallout from Fridays action expected.
