Booker T is focused on training the new generation of pro wrestlers both in Reality of Wrestling as well as WWE LFG. With that in mind, Booker T has now revealed hes actually grooming his children to take over his business in wrestling.
While speaking to Metro UK, Booker T revealed that his 15-year-old twins are already showing signs of following in his footsteps. His son has a strong interest in professional wrestling, and his daughter is very athletic.
While both kids seem well-suited for the wrestling world, Booker T believes they might be better off working behind the scenes. Hes preparing them to eventually take over his own promotion Reality of Wrestling, seeing the business side as more stable and less physically demanding. Even though hes leaning toward a future for them backstage, hes keeping the door open for whatever path they choose.
Booker T said that the first time he got into a wrestling ring, it felt really familiar, like he had been doing it his whole life. After 35 years in wrestling, he has a lot of knowledge in his head that he can easily remember and use.
The WWE Hall of Famer wants his kids to learn the same way, but knows that everyone learns differently. Some people pick things up fast, while others take more time. Thats why he uses different ways to teach, so everyone can understand in their own way.
Booker T is clearly focused on the future of wrestling, and involving his children in his journey shows how hes thinking ahead for both his business and his family. Whether his twins choose to wrestle or work behind the scenes, theyll be continuing Booker Ts legacy and thats all that matters in the end.
