The WWETNA partnership just added even more depth heading into this weekends TNA tapings in Pittsburgh. Several names expected backstage includes a mix of NXT talent, coaches, indie wrestlers, and even WWEs NIL signees.
Multiple new faces are either on location or listed internally for TNAs shows this weekend. WWE NXT standouts Saqon Shugars, Fallon Henley, Jacy Jayne, and TNA World Champion Trick Williams are all among the names expected to appearor at least be present backstage. Coach Alexander James is also listed.
The crossover between WWEs developmental system and TNA is already active on television, but this expanded list suggests a broader collaboration than whats being shown onscreen. Also part of the internal roster are several NIL recruits, continuing WWEs trend of exposing college athletes to the live wrestling scene.
Thats not all. Multiple independent wrestling talents were also named on the internal list for the tapings, including LJ Cleary, Facade, Mila Moore, Pepper Pryde, Ashley Vox, and Jada Stone.
The nature of these appearances variessome may be guests, others could be helping backstage or assisting with the ring crew. Still, the presence of so many different namesespecially from outside TNAsignals that this partnership is far more active behind the scenes than previously known.
Earlier reports had already confirmed Fallon Henley, Arianna Grace, and members of the new NXT faction Dark State (Eddy Thorpe, Bronco Nima, and Lucien Price) were in town. Trick Williams is still scheduled to be in action at the tapings, representing both NXT and TNA as the reigning TNA World Champion.
The crossover continues to expandand its not just limited to TV appearances anymore.
