
WWE has made a decision following Liv Morgans dislocated shoulder injuryand despite her extended absence, the Womens Tag Team Titles are staying exactly where they are.
According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com, Morgan has officially been pulled from all live WWE programming as she prepares for surgery and a lengthy recovery.
Liv suffered the injury during the June 16 edition of WWE RAW in a match against Kairi Sane. The bout was cut short after Morgan dislocated her shoulder mid-match, and its since been reported she could be out for up to six months.
While WWE has decided to keep the tag titles active, the company hasnt revealed how theyll handle the championship moving forward. Theres already talk of someone stepping in for Morgan. Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com reported that things are wide open right now across creative.
Earlier this week, speculation began that Roxanne Perez might replace Liv Morgan and team with Raquel Rodriguez to continue the tag title run, but as of now, nothing has been confirmed.
Morgans injury has clearly shaken up the womens division, and with Evolution II approaching fast, WWE is now racing the clock to rework its plans.
