The news was made public through an official WWE press release on June 20, ending weeks of speculation following Goldbergs surprise RAW appearance where he challenged GUNTHER face-to-face.
That confirmation puts to rest the lingering question about whether Goldberg was making a brief return or truly closing the book. Now, theres no doubt this is it. The Hall of Famer will walk into State Farm Arena for one last spear, one last Jackhammer, and one final showdown in his hometown.
