WWEs acquisition of AAA has already led to a lot of success since the Worlds Collide crossover show was an instant hit with fans. WWE was obviously monitoring all the AAA talent there and it appears the company has a lot of interest in Psycho Clown.
While speaking on WrestleVotes Radio, WWE is very interested in bringing Psycho Clown to the main roster in a big way. It was noted that the company is drawn to his unique character and sees strong marketing potential in him, which is obviously something WWE sees value in.
Psycho Clown has been using his current character in AAA since 2007 and its been a major success for the promotion. Hes become one of the companys biggest and most loyal stars, playing a huge role in AAA for almost 18 years.
This comes after WWE already saw lots of potential in Mr. Iguana for the same reasons and we have reported that Iguana was finalizing a deal with the company as well.
WWEs major interest in AAA stars like Psycho Clown shows that the company is truly embracing the global side of wrestling. Therefore, well have to see if Clown does end up signing with WWE and appearing on the main roster, as fans would love that.
