The idea of Vince McMahon buying TNA Wrestling is gaining traction onlinebut dont count on it happening anytime soon. According to Dave Meltzer, the move doesnt make sense for Vince or anyone else involved, and it wouldnt put him anywhere near the top of the wrestling industry again.

Speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Meltzer addressed the possibility of Vince scooping up TNA now that hes no longer part of WWEs leadership. He didnt hold back in pointing out why such a deal would flop from the start.

Even if Vince bought the company, Meltzer said the outlook would still be grim. AEW has a much stronger foothold, and Vince would instantly fall behind both WWE and Tony Khans promotion.

Beyond rankings and competition, Meltzer also raised serious concerns about Vinces current image in the business worldespecially after the fallout from the Janel Grant lawsuit and sponsor exits like Slim Jim.

And if Vince ever tried to collaborate with WWE in any way again through a new venture?

At the end of the day, buying TNA might be technically possible, but its a dead-end strategy with huge risks, limited upside, and no guarantee of a platform. Vince McMahon might want back in, but the door doesnt look openand if it is, it might lead nowhere.
