Will Ospreay really values his family, as they have been supporting him from the very start of his wrestling career. Unfortunately, Ospreay had sad news to share as he announced the passing of his grandfather.
Following the conclusion of AEW Grand Slam Mexico, Will Ospreay took to Twitter and revealed that he found out his grandfather had passed away right after he landed in Mexico at around 3 a.m. He said his grandfather was very important to him and like a hero. Even though he was heartbroken, the love and support from the fans helped him feel a little better.
This comes after Will Ospreays grandmother passed away last year, which was especially hard on him, considering just how much his grandmother supported his wrestling journey.
Despite the devastating passing of his grandfather, Will Ospreay teamed up with Swerve Strickland and The Opps in a 10-man tag team match against Beast Mortos and The Death Riders in a solid match.
