The June 17 episode of WWE NXT was quite a show. It also included a big segment for WWEs most recent acquisition from AEWs roster.
Fans were shocked when Mariah May debuted for NXT. This marked a chance for her to show off on a much bigger stage, and WWE is doing a lot to make her a star already.
This weeks NXT saw Blake Monroe sign her NXT contract. This was heavily hyped throughout the episode, and it also served as the final segment of the night.
Ava was in the ring for this segment as she proclaimed that NXT has the best womens division in pro wrestling. Then she introduced The Glamour Blake Monroe. She was happy to take the microphone and start.
The Glamour said that shes been wanting to jump into bed with the kind of talent that the NXT Womens Division has. She said that The Glamour raises the bar, turns heads, and redefines what it means to be a star. The former AEW Womens Champion then said that the spotlight is on her before signing her contract with a furry, pink pen.
Jacy Jayne then came out to interrupt her. She had her Fatal Influence stablemates with her, and they all got a turn cutting a promo on The Glamour. Then Blake Monroe called them b*tches before Jacy Jayne said that the NXT Womens Division doesnt need her.
At that point, Blake Monroe punched Jacy and they brawled for a bit before the numbers game won. Monroe took a bump through the table and was left laying as Fatal Influence posed over her broken body.
We will have to see what Blake Monroe does next in WWE. At this point, it appears that she has a bone to pick with the NXT Womens Champion.
