Zoey Stark isnt retiringand she wants fans to know the truth came straight from her, not from some AI-generated deepfake.

The RAW star took to social media to set the record straight after a viral fake video falsely claimed she was stepping away from professional wrestling. The AI clip used her likeness and voice to announce a retirement due to injury, and it was so convincing that even Starks own family fell for it.

In response, Stark posted a video of herself watching the deepfake and reacting in disbelief. She made it clear that the video was entirely fake and that shes very much still committed to returning to the ring.

Stark is currently rehabbing at the UFC Performance Institute after undergoing surgery for multiple torn ligaments. Back on May 19, during an episode of RAW, she suffered a serious injury when she collapsed after delivering a missile dropkick. The final diagnosis was a torn ACL, MCL, and meniscus. A two-hour surgery turned into a grueling three-and-a-half-hour procedure.

While shes expected to be out of action until at least WrestleMania 42 in 2026, Stark emphasized that shes putting in the work during her recovery and isnt done with wrestling by any means.

The timing of this fake retirement video added unnecessary confusion to whats already been an emotional journey for Stark. WWE hasnt officially commented on the viral deepfake, but Starks direct response cut through the noise.
