This Fridays episode of WWE SmackDown is stacking up with serious star power, and after this weeks RAW on Netflix, the lineup just got even clearer.
Set for June 20, WWE is bringing a mix of championship tension, tournament drama, and grudge showdowns to the USA Network. At the top of the card, WWE Champion John Cena is set for a non-title match against R-Truth in what promises to be a bizarre but entertaining clash between two longtime WWE veterans.
The King and Queen of the Ring tournaments are now deep into the semi-final stage, and fans will see major names throw down to get one step closer to the crown. Randy Orton will face Sami Zayn, and with both men riding momentum, this one could go either way. Over in the womens bracket, Alexa Bliss squares off with Asuka in a semi-final bout that could easily steal the show.
Also announced during the June 16 WWE RAW, WWE Womens United States Champion Zelina Vega is set to confront Giulia live on SmackDown. The standoff has been building for weeks, and Friday could be the moment things finally boil over between the two.
Meanwhile, WWE United States Champion Jacob Fatu is stepping into Solo Sikoas yard for a showdown between two of the most dangerous men on the roster.
SmackDown is coming live from the red-hot road to King and Queen of the Ring, and its clear WWE isnt holding back on Friday nights show.
