WWE added a twist to Night of Champions during the June 16 episode of RAW when SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis officially confirmed a brand-new match: AJ Styles vs. Dominik Mysterio in Riyadh.
The announcement came after Styles pinned JD McDonagh on RAW, then went after Dominik and made his intentions clear. During a backstage segment, tensions in The Judgment Day spilled over when Dominik insisted on handling Styles himself, leading to Aldis locking in the match.
This new addition joins a stacked Night of Champions lineup already set to go down on June 28, 2025, at the Mohammed Abdu Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Now with AJ Styles and Dominik added to the mix, its clear WWE isnt playing it safe with this card. Dominik has spent the past year building heat across both brands, and Styles is looking to shut him down with no gold even necessary to make this a must-watch.
