WWE RAWs June 16 episode went down in the Resch Center in Green Bay, Wisconsin. It was quite a show, and fans saw the Ring General make his way back to the red brand as World Champion.
GUNTHER beat Jey Uso during last weeks WWE RAW to become World Heavyweight Champion. That was a big move to squash the leader of YeetNation, and this week saw GUNTHER start his new road with his second World Championship.
The new World Heavyweight Champion had a chance to come out to address fans at the end of the shows first hour. After posing with the title in front of a big firework display, GUNTHER got to his promo. He admitted that Jey Uso was the better man at WrestleMania 41, but that was only for one night. GUNTHER then said every other night he is untouchable.
GUNTHER said that there are a lot of rumors about whats next for him. Fans chanted for Goldberg, and GUNTHER said hes done with him after cussing him out. At that point, Seth Rollins became the focus. He mentioned how Rollins said that GUNTHER is a target after winning the title.
Suddenly, Goldberg showed up as fans went crazy. They chanted for Goldberg as he kicked his way to the ring. WWE put off pyro behind him, just as always. This was a big moment on Netflix as Goldberg made his return.
Goldberg said he was there because it was GUNTHERs moment. Then Goldberg brought up how GUNTHER started something with him in Atlanta, Georgia. Now he will finish it in Atlanta on July 12 at Saturday Nights Main Event. Then Goldberg proclaimed that GUNTHER is next.
GUNTHER had already called out Goldberg after he won the title. It was later reported that Goldberg is expected to be a part of WWE television.
