LeBron James has shared a super honest view about the Lakers 2020 bubble championship.

Many think the Lakers 2020 championship in the COVID-19 bubble didnt count because there were no fans, no travelling and the season was shortened.

However, other fans have taken a totally different approach and argue it was a harder championship to win than others one of the hardest in professional sports.

Every single player was subject to daily COVID testing and lived away from their families in segregated hotels, which certainly wouldnt have been easy.

Steve Nash and LeBron got talking about it on Mind the Game and LeBron says it was basketball in its most pure form.

I agree when a lot of people say its the purest form of hoops, James said. Like it was just, it was strictly basketball. You know, were all like, you know, have the ability to do whatever we want in life. You know, weve made a bunch of money. We have all the access. You know, thats gone in the bubble. You cant just, you know, oh, Im about to go to a restaurant or Im about to do this or I have this. You cant do none of that. Like, everything in the bubble was strictly about basketball.

Of all my championships Ive won, that level of focus, like how long can you maintain your focus in order to get the job done? Because you have all the reasons, if you want to, to get out of focus because youre so accustomed to a certain lifestyle.

LeBrons impact in Los Angeles has been tough to measure, but after two back-to-back first round exits, some are questioning his legacy for LAL.

No doubt he and Luka Doncic will have one goal in mind this season to restore glory to the purple and gold franchise.
