Mr. Iguana may be AAAs talent, but NXT wants a piece of him. Following his viral reaction during WWEs Worlds Collide and Money in the Bank weekend, WWE officials are reportedly discussing ways to integrate the luchador into future NXT programming.
According to Fightfuls Sean Ross Sapp, Iguanas performance wasnt just a fan favoriteit translated extremely well to social media, which caught the attention of NXT decision-makers.
His physical comedy, charisma, and unique look helped him stand out immediatelyeven to fans unfamiliar with AAA. And after being seated ringside at Money in the Bank for promotional shots, Iguana walked away with massive backstage praise for his attitude and cooperation.
His buzz has sparked new interest behind the scenes about whether NXT could be a fitting home for Mr. Iguana going forward, at least on a guest appearance basis.
