R-Truths exit from WWE has truly shocked the pro wrestling business, but fans also couldnt believe the fact that WWE didnt want talent to wear Truths merchandise on Raw this week. Unsurprisingly, WWE has now been called out for the same.
While speaking on Lucha Libre Online, Hugo Savinovich called out WWE for not allowing talent to wear R-Truth merchandise on RAW this week, questioning why there was no tribute or proper sendoff for him.
Savinovich stated that wrestlers feel nervous and afraid to speak freely because they think WWE or TKO might be watching everything. The whole situation is making the work environment hostile. Savinovich pointed out that while no one could wear anything to honor R-Truth, Judgment Day was allowed to pay tribute to Carlito.
Liv Morgan had Carlitos name on her boot, and Dominik Mysterio wore a shirt referencing him. So he asked why the Judgment Day was allowed to pay tribute to Carlito while no one could do anything for R-Truth.
Savinovich added that this unfair treatment is upsetting people backstage. Wrestlers and fans are noticing that R-Truth was ignored, while Carlito was celebrated, and it doesnt sit well with anyone.
We have previously reported that WWE didnt want talent to wear R-Truth merchandise since it wasnt in WWEs best interest to have any mention of a Superstar who is no longer with the company.
Regardless, well have to see whats next in store for R-Truth, especially since TNAs Head of Talent Relations has alreadyreached out and told him to get in touch. No matter what, its clear Truth has a lot of options and fans cant wait to see what he will do next.
