
Nixon Newell was released by WWE in November 2024after she was taken off television in April that year. Shes been active in the indies since then and now she has called out people who claim she is injury-prone and went after her time WWE as well.
Nixon Newell took to her Instagram and uploaded a video, where she called out her critics and also took a shot at WWE. She talked about how people often call her injury-prone and said shes seen the comments online. She asked people to be more creative with their insults because the same jokes are getting old.
Newell pointed out that some of the wrestlers fans love have had more injuries than she has. She said she once wrestled an entire match with a broken leg and a hurt knee, while some others cant even wrestle with a small injury like a broken nail.
Nixon said shes been wrestling for 14 years, including eight years in big wrestling companies. She worked hard every day, trying to prove herself, but kept getting more challenges thrown at her. She said it felt like a game she could never win. Even though wrestlers are told to speak up and when they do, they get called unprofessional or difficult, which she thinks is unfair.
The former WWE star talked about waiting around for opportunities, sitting in catering for hours, standing outside doors, and always being told it wasnt the right time. Now, she said shes done waiting. She believes now is her time and asked for a real chance to prove herself.
Newell has made it clear she is ready to make a name for herself outside WWE and so well have to wait and see if she will end up signing a deal with another wrestling promotion soon enough, as fans feel she deserves it.
