Drew McIntyre knows fans have opinions about his rivalry with Damian Priestand hes not here for the complaints.
During his Guerilla Position: Beyond the Ring interview, McIntyre addressed the backlash from fans who questioned the direction of his storyline with the current World Heavyweight Champion.
McIntyre didnt hold back when it came to responding to criticism of WWEs creative process. He pointed out that the industry isnt built on rigid plansand fans should know that by now.
Rather than chase the title year-round, McIntyre said his goal is to make sure the story feels real to himbecause if it does, fans will believe it too.
McIntyre then broke down exactly why hes fed up with Priest, calling out the champion for repeatedly benefiting from McIntyres setbacks throughout the year.
Now, the former WWE Champion says its time for Priest to prove if he can stand on his ownor keep taking shortcuts.
