The June 6 episode of WWE SmackDown took place at the Dignity Health Arena in Bakersfield, California. Giulia was on hand, and although shes been booked as a babyface in the past, she certainly showed a ton of heel colors this week.
This week on SmackDown, WWE Womens United States Champion Zelina Vega faced Piper Niven in a non-title match. At the end of the contest, the champion was standing tall, but her victory didnt last long.
Giulia entered the ring as Zelina Vega lifted her title up high. The smile on her face was quickly wiped away as the former WWE NXT Womens Champion attacked her.
Giulia left Zelina Vega laying on the mat selling the attack. Then Giulia lifted the WWE Womens United States Title above her head. This was a big statement, for sure.
It remains to be seen what happens at Money in the Bank. Giulia is in the six-woman ladder match to see who will pull down the briefcase this year. It seems that she has already made a big statement by setting her sights on Zelina Vegas championship.
We will keep a close eye on Giulia as things heat up for her career on the WWE main roster. At this rate, she is on a great path to achieve a ton, including a few title reigns, in the process.
