Drew McIntyre is sick of CM Punk getting cheered no matter what he doeseven when the fans know better.

In his new Guerilla Position: Beyond the Ring interview, McIntyre didnt mince words when describing Punks bizarre grip on the audience, comparing it to something darker.

McIntyre vented about the disconnect between what Punk says and does versus how fans treat him. Even in Scotland, McIntyres home turf, Punk got cheersand it left an impression.

The former WWE Champion was especially frustrated by the reaction Punk received during their feud, pointing out the irony of being the villain in his own country while Punk basked in the crowds love.

McIntyre also made it clear that the animosity between them wasnt scriptedit was real. He described their 2024 storyline as lightning in a bottle because of their genuine dislike for one another.

Punks ability to control a room, regardless of whats happening in the ring, clearly left McIntyre both baffled and irritatedand it shows how personal their feud really was.
