During the June 3, 2025 episode of WWE NXT, fans once again took over the broadcast with deafening We want Truth chants.
The protest broke out during the opening six-man tag team match between Chase U (Andre Chase, Kale Dixon, and Uriah Connors) and DarkState members Dion Lennox, Osiris Griffin, Cutler James, and Saquon Shugars.
It was an unmistakable message. Just like on Mondays RAW, where the same chant disrupted the Womens Money in the Bank Qualifier, the crowd made it clear they havent forgiven WWE renewing R-Truth. The chants rang out repeatedly, overpowering commentary and nearly drowning out the in-ring action.
Despite the companys efforts to move forwardwith a stacked card including Trick Williams defending the TNA World Championship and Tyra Mae Steeles debutfans in the arena refused to let WWE off the hook. WE WANT TRUTH.
Thats all it took. One chant, repeated by hundreds, to remind the company exactly who theyre fighting with.
Will WWE finally address the backlash? Or will the crowd take control of every show until R-Truth gets the respect they believe he deserves?
