WWE NXT is going all-in for its June 3, 2025 episodeand the company just confirmed what fans will be sticking around to see.
In a last-minute update, WWE announced on social media just five minutes after NXT went live that the nights main event will feature Trick Williams defending the TNA World Championship against Mike Santana.
This confirmation adds even more weight to what was already shaping up to be a loaded episode. Trick Williams, who won the TNA World Title at Battleground, is walking into his first defense on NXT soil. Santana, riding a hot streak of momentum, has been looking for a statement winand theres no bigger opportunity than this.
Also on the card is a Rounds Match between Charlie Dempsey and Myles Borne. If Borne wins, he walks away from the No Quarter Catch Crew. If he loses, hes locked in for good. With their faction drama heating up, its a must-watch moment.
Another featured bout pits Chase Us Andre Chase, Kale Dixon, and Uriah Connors against the ominous trio of DarkState. The two factions have been locked in a bitter feud, and tonights six-man tag team match could finally settle the scoreor escalate it further.
Add to that the recent in-ring debut of WWE LFG winner Tyra Mae Steele, and theres no doubt WWE is stacking this episode to deliver. But the decision to close the show with Trick vs. Santana signals exactly where WWE wants the spotlight.
WWE NXT airs live from the Capitol Wrestling Center in Orlando, Florida, starting at 8 PM ET on The CW Network. For international fans, the show is also available to stream on Netflix and through on-demand services.
With the TNA World Title on the line in the main event and the road to Worlds Collide heating up, tonights episode might just set the tone for WWEs entire summer.
