Carbondale, CO June 3, 2025 Just two weeks after Revel Bikes announced it had been bought back by its founder Adam Miller, the brand is bringing things full circle again - Mike Giese, the original designer behind Revels first bikes, is officially back on board. Hes stepping into the role of Director of Product Development and Creative Director.
Mike was there in the early days, working side by side with Adam and the rest of the crew in 20162018 to bring the Rail, Rascal, and eventually the Ranger to life. Mikes the real deal, said Adam. Hes got this rare combo of incredible engineering talent, insane bike handling skills, and an eye for design thats unmatched. Its wildly awesome to get to work with him again.
After helping shape the brands early product line, Mike moved on to gain even more experience developing cutting-edge carbon bikes and components. Now, hes back with a deeper skillset and a clear vision for what comes next. Mike was a big part of why Revel clicked right from the start. Getting to build the next chapter together is something were all really stoked about.
Revels early success was no fluke. With Gieses designs and Chris Canfields CBF suspension platform, the brand picked up a stack of awards in its first few years and built a loyal rider base with bikes that hit that a sweet spot.
I am beyond excited for this next chapter with Revel Bikes. After working with Adam and teamto design the original Rail, Rascal and Ranger, I am looking forward to joining the Revel Bikes team to lead product strategy, design and development for the next generation of bikes, and for the next generation of the brand.
Revel recently shifted to a direct-to-consumer model focused on making the best high end bikes without the markup. Customers can buy complete bikes and frames directly through Revels website, with global shipping available. They alsosupport custom builds through local bike shop dealers with their frame-only program. Now, it is time to put the foot on the gas and design some insane new bikes. Let the good times roll! Mike
