Raheem Sterling spent the 202425 season on loan at Arsenal, hoping to resurrect his career after being deemed surplus to requirements at Chelsea.
But the 30-year-old managed just one goal in 28 appearances across all competitions and failed to establish himself as a regular in Arsenal's team.
To complicate matters further, Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca has already confirmed Sterling is not part of his future squad at Stamford Bridge, leaving the Englishman in limbo heading into the summer.
But while things remain unclear for the 82-cap England international, theres already a new Sterling making strides in north London. Raheem's eight-year-old son, Thiago, has officially joined Arsenals prestigious Hale End academy, signing with the Under-9 side and taking his first big step in the world of football.
Sterlings partner, Paige Milian, shared the news in a touching Instagram post, celebrating her sons achievement with photos of Thiago holding up an Arsenal shirt and signing his contract with both parents proudly by his side.
Beyond proud of my firstborn son Thiago for signing with @officialarsenalacademy U9s, she wrote. "The growth, dedication, and hard work youve shown over the past year have been incredible to watch; youve earned this," he added. "This is just the beginning, so keep your feet on the ground, stay humble, and keep grinding, the journey doesnt stop here."
For now, Sterlings own career may be at a crossroads but his sons journey at Arsenal is just getting started.
