One of NXTs biggest stories right now is definitely the family story with Tony DAngelo and Channing Stacks Lorenzo, where Lorenzo betrayed DAngelo. However, WWE has now been accused of stealing the storyline as well as Lorenzos whole look.
Vito LoGrasso took to Twitter and accused WWE of stealing his ideas and copying his mob-style character for their story with Tony DAngelo and Channing Stacks Lorenzo. Even though he has played this kind of character for over 35 years in wrestling, WWE did not give him any credit.
Big Vito says WWEs Talent Relations told him they would bring him to Florida to help with the story, and that many parts of the current story are based on his ideas. But instead of respecting him, WWE is using his character without asking and ignoring him.
Vito also said Channing Stacks Lorenzo copied his look and has been disrespectful to him. He says he has proof to show he is right and accused WWE of making fun of Italian culture by copying his character without giving him credit. He says no matter who wears the costume, they will always be in his shadow unless he says otherwise.
Vito LoGrassos accusations are definitely serious since he really has been developing his gimmick for well over two decades at this point. Therefore, well have to see if WWE will respond to his accusations and give him his due credit, as fans feel he more than deserves it.
