Following his emotional announcement at the 2024 Money in the Bank Premium Live Event that hell retire from wrestling in 2025, the WWE legend appeared on Stephanies Places to explain what pushed him to make that call. And it turns out, the decision came from a place of painful self-reflectionphysically and emotionally.

Cena revealed that his visits to his personal gym, a place that once gave him peace, started to feel like a constant reminder of what he could no longer do.

He went on to admit that his body simply cant keep up with the demands of wrestlingand continuing would only damage not just his performances, but also his personal life.

Despite the tough reality, Cena emphasized just how deeply he still connects with the wrestling worldcalling it one of the only places he truly feels at home outside of his marriage.
