JeVon Evans WWE SmackDown debut on the May 30 episode in Knoxville, Tennessee, was marred by interference from Ethan Page, leaving Evans and Rey Fenix on the losing side of a high-octane tag team match. Despite Evans making an impressive start in his main roster debut, things quickly took a turn after Page got involved.

During the match against Los Garzas Angel and Berto, Evans had his chance to shine, but his momentum was interrupted when he and Page exchanged words at ringside. The distraction allowed Page to toss Rey Fenix over the announce table, adding chaos to the match.

Evans, trying to keep the fight going, hit his signature Red Dot maneuver but was thrown off the top rope by Page, who further disrupted the flow of the match. With Evans down, Angel took full advantage of the opening, hitting his finishing move and pinning Evans for the win.

Though Evans showed great potential, his debut ended in defeat thanks to outside interference, and Angels decisive pin put the finishing touch on the match. While it remains unclear whether this was a one-off appearance or the beginning of a full-time call-up for Evans, one thing is clearhell be looking for a chance to redeem himself on the main roster.
