Vince McMahon might be out of WWE, but if Jonathan Coachman is to be believed, hes not done trying to get his company back. Coachman sparked a wave of conversation after revealing on Behind the Turnbuckle that hes been hearing from credible sources who claim McMahon wants to buy WWE again.

Coachman didnt claim its in motionbut he made it clear the interest is real. And coming from someone whos been around the business for decades and says he hasnt been wrong yet, thats enough to get people talking.

That comment alone triggered a flood of speculationespecially with Vince Russo jumping in and pitching his own theory: that McMahon knew trouble was coming, stepped away temporarily, and planned all along to return once his legal storm passed. Russo suggested that TKO and Endeavor couldve been placeholders during McMahons forced exit.

But heres where things got messy. Another media voice repeated the story this weekclaiming they heard McMahon was trying to buy back WWE. Except they apparently only heard it from Coachman. In other words, they werent reporting anything new.

That hasnt stopped people from talking, but from everything weve gatheredMcMahon wanting to buy WWE again is very different from being able to. WWEs market value has exploded since the TKO merger. Endeavor, Silver Lake equity holders, and Egon Durban control over 60% of the company, and even The Vanguard Group owns nearly as much stock as McMahon.

McMahon might still own a significant stake, but hes far from having enough financial control to just take the company backeven if he wants to.

This doesnt mean Coachman was wronghe probably did hear it. But right now, theres zero indication from any credible outlet that a buyback is actually happening.

Would you even want Vince McMahon back in control of WWE if he found a way to pull it off? Or is the company better off with TKO calling the shots? Sound off in the comments and let us know what you think.
