Chelsea Green didnt just walk out of WWE Saturday Nights Main Event without the titleshe left with a broken nose, and a whole lot to say about it.
After her hard-hitting match with Zelina Vega on May 24 at the Yuengling Center in Tampa, Green took to Twitter to react to the chaotic aftermath. The WWE Womens United States Title match ended with Vega hitting a Code Red from the top rope for the win, but the real shock came after the bell when Chelseas nose was visibly busted open and bleeding.
In her tweet, Chelsea detailed the moment she realized something wasnt right. Me tonight!!! Its absolutely INSANE!!! I was like Whaaat just happened?! The ref turns to me and I thought he said You won but he said Your nose is broken and I was like WHAT and he said Your nose is broken!!!!
She admitted she couldnt believe it at first. I literally turned to the ref and said Youre kidding me right? but no, apparently not. He said You have to go to medical because your nose is broken.
Despite the injury, Chelseas post was full of sarcasm, attitude, and that signature Green energy: Im not even mad though. Well, I am mad, but its the kind of mad where you have to laugh because you KNOW you were robbed!!! And I was like IS THIS REAL LIFE OR AM I ON A HIDDEN CAMERA SHOW???
She ended the post with a classic twist of humor: Stay tuned!!! P.S. Thinking about bangs!!! P.P.S My nose really hurts!!!
The tweet also included a backstage video showing Green being helped by Piper Niven and Alba Fyre, clearly shaken and in pain but still trying to help her through the discomfort.
Green has been on a mission to reclaim the title ever since losing it to Vega, but this setback might put her out of actionat least temporarily. Then again, if theres one thing Chelsea Green is known for, its bouncing back with a vengeance.
