Mayu Iwatani is in a new promotion and has won herself a new title. Iwatani challenged Victoria Yuzuki at the Shine Forever event on Saturday and won the Marigold Super Fly Championship. Yuzuki was the belts second champion and she held it for 141 days. After the match, Iwatani asked Yuzuki to team with her.
In a post-match press conference, Iwatani stated, I got the belt. Its the first belt Ive ever gotten since coming to Marigold. Its really heavy, and the design is really cool. Ive only just gotten it, but Im already feeling attached to it.
Misa Matsui stepped up to Iwatani to be her first challenger.
