TNA Wrestlings 2025 Under Siege pay-per-view went down at the CAA Centre in Brampton, Ontario. This was a big night for the company, but it also meant a lot more for Cody Deaner.
During TNA Wrestlings Under Siege pay-per-view, Cody Deaner faced Eddie Edwards of The System in a singles match with Deaners career on the line. The outcome of the match would determine whether Deaner could continue competing in TNA, adding significance to the contest between the two wrestlers.
Before the contest, Eric Young had a chance to give Cody Deaner some words backstage. The match went on second of the main pay-per-view. The sold out arena was ready to see the two lock horns, and Deaner also took his time to soak in the moment.
Eddie Edwards started this match out on top, as he beat Cody Deaner down a bit. Deaner sold for Edwards as he did his best to hurt and humiliate his opponent. He eventually took Deaner down to the mat to further wear him down with a submission hold.
Cody Deaner fought back, and fans were all behind him throughout his comeback. Deaner lost his advantage, but he also refused to kick out, even though Eddie Edwards hit him with some unforgiving offense.
Finally, Eddie Edwards was able to score the pinfall, ending Cody Deaners career. This was a big moment, and Eddie Edwards celebrated as Deaner was left looking at the lights. After that, Brian Myers and his stable made their way down to rub salt in the wound.
We will have to see how this storyline goes from here. Anything is possible in pro wrestling, but it looks like Cody Deaners time in the ring is over.
