TNA Wrestling and WWEs partnership has definitely changed the world of professional wrestling in a massive way, but its obviously not easy. Keeping that in mind, Shawn Michaels has now addressed the storyline challenges with WWE and TNA as their partnership continues.
While speaking to Good Karma Wrestling, Shawn Michaels talked about the partnership between WWE NXT and TNA Wrestling. He said its exciting because you never know who will show up, someone from TNA could appear on NXT, or an NXT wrestler might go to TNA.
According to HBK, the hardest part is that TNAs shows are taped ahead of time, while NXT is live every week. This makes it tricky to plan the stories and matches at the right time. However, even with that challenge, he really likes the partnership.
Michaels enjoys surprises in wrestling and thinks having access to TNA wrestlers is a big help for NXT. It also gives younger NXT talent the chance to learn from more experienced wrestlers, some of whom used to be in WWE. Michaels said the partnership is great, and even though timing can be challenging sometimes, its worth it for everything they gain from working together.
On the other hand, Mark Henry believes that TNA Wrestling isnt benefiting enough from their partnership with WWE. Regardless, Shawn Michaels is more than happy with how WWE and TNAs partnership has been developing since 2024 and thats what matters to him right now.
