Take-Two Interactive just dropped major news for wrestling game fans WWE 2K26 is officially in development.

The announcement came during the companys latest earnings call, with the release window set for Take-Twos fiscal year 2026, running from April 1, 2025, to March 31, 2026.

This confirmation follows the release of WWE 2K25, which hit shelves on March 14, 2025, for PlayStation, Xbox, and PC. Fans also got their hands on special Deadman and Bloodline editions a week earlier on March 7. Despite the recent launch, Take-Two is already moving forward with the next installment in the franchise.

Thats not all Take-Two also announced WWE 2K Mobile, set for a Fall 2025 release in partnership with Netflix. This mobile entry aims to bring the wrestling action to a new platform, offering a fresh way for players to experience the squared circle.

Take-Twos upcoming lineup for fiscal 2026 also includes major titles like Borderlands 4, scheduled for September 12, 2025, and Mafia: The Old Country, set for August 8, 2025. The publisher is projecting sequential increases and record levels of Net Bookings as these releases roll out.
