WWE made big news last month when they acquired the Mexican wrestling company AAA and the promotion is getting ready for their big show Triplemana Regia, on June 15. Reports noted that the Hardys were going to be on the show but thats not happening anymore and now Matt Hardy has explained why thats the case.

While speaking on the Extreme Life of Matt Hardy podcast, Matt Hardy explained that he and Jeff Hardy wont be appearing at Triplemana Regia despite earlier reports suggesting they would.

Hardy revealed that they were asked to participate, but they are already booked for those weekends and cant make it. While they had to turn down the opportunity this time, he didnt rule out a future appearance. Hardy also showed interest in competing for the AAA Tag Team titles, saying he would love to see him and Jeff win them someday.

This comes after Dave Meltzer noted in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Joe Hendry and The Hardys will be part of Triplemana Regia representing TNA. Obviosuly tats not happening now but fans are hopeful for future appearances from the Hardys.

It was already confirmed thatAngel Garza and Humberto Carrillowill be appearing at Triplemana Regia on June 15th, and on top of that, Joe Hendry, Moose and the Nemeths will be representing TNA Wrestling at the event. Nonetheless, well have to wait and see when the Hardys will compete at an AAA event in the future, as fans would love for that to happen.
