WWE 2K just dropped its New Wave DLC pack for WWE 2K25, featuring some major names in the wrestling world Stephanie Vaquer, Giulia, and The Motor City Machine Guns. However, one name that was initially slated for the pack wont be making the cut just yet.
On May 14th, WWE 2K took to social media to announce that the celebrity guest character originally set for the pack has been postponed. Instead of releasing the mystery guest alongside the other DLC names, the company revealed that the guest character will be unveiled in the coming weeks through a separate announcement from WWE.
To make up for the delay, WWE 2K is compensating players with 12,500 VC, providing a locker code to redeem the in-game currency. Thanks for waiting! WWE 2K tweeted, while leaving fans guessing about the identity of the mystery character.
The New Wave DLC pack still packs a punch with Vaquer, Giulia, and The Motor City Machine Guns, giving players new options to dominate the ring. But with a mystery guest character still to be revealed, speculation is running rampant about who WWE 2K might have in store.
